The Other Me
As I’ve mentioned. I have Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Being a formerly active, healthy gal, having a chronic pain syndrome is a major adjustment. Sometimes, it brings me (temporarily) to my knees and transforms my normally beautiful life into a nightmarish one. I’ve got a separate blog for those times. If you don’t see recent posts on Moonbeam McQueen, chances are I’ve posted on my FibromyOWgia blog. It gives me a separate place to vent, rant, cry, post information and commiserate with others who are dealing with the same thing. It’s not really a “poor me” page, it’s more like a– okay, maybe it’s a “poor me” page.

I looked at your ‘other life’ and realized we have quite a bit in common. I have MS and like you I try to maintain a positive attitude.

I think everyone needs to let it all out every now and then.
My mom suffers from Fibromialgia as well and I pray that someday, someone will find an answer to her suffering. I’ll keep you in the thoughts for that day as well.

@ cowgal: I think it really does help sometimes too. I tend to get very quiet when I’m having a bad flare (as I’ve had this past week), but sometimes it really helps to whine! I hope your mom’s doing okay. This can be pretty rough. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts!

Hi there,
I’ve been pre-occupied lately and have not been a faithful reader due to some nasty shit going down in my life. I also have fibromyalgia and like you I tend to be very quiet when I’m enduring a flare-up as I did over the last 2 weeks.
Here’s a big {{HUG}}. As soon as I’m on my feet again I’ll be back to visit.

@ brightfeather: I’m so glad to “see” you! I know from reading your blog that you’ve had a lot of tough stuff going on these days. Sometimes, I can’t find the right words, but I’m sorry, and hope that things turn around quickly. Sending you big hugs too. Hope you’re feeling well soon!
