A Daily Dose of Chihuahuas and Chickens

March 13, 2008 at 4:34 pm (Blogging, Random, friends, miscellaneous) (, , , , )

I am so bloggy today. I’m not exactly certain of the reason for this diarrhea of the keyboard (bloggarrhea?), but this makes post number three in one day, and I’m starting to think that there may direct correlation between this new prolificness and the amount of chores that are awaiting me.

Anyway, I keep wanting to mention a few things. I was linked to some blogs this week, and they’re fantastic.

This one’s from Curious C over at Idea Jump. Thank you for joining the cause!

Little Miss at Random Inkings made the poster shown above, which I’m printing off, framing and hanging over Tom’s desk. If that doesn’t clinch the deal on my getting a puppy, he has no soul.

My sweet, crazy friend Red at DrPepper is Good 4 the Soul gave me this award , which I love and appreciate.

And bosquechica at Trees for the Forest linked me to this post. I don’t know which is more hilarious, the post or the picture.

The mood swing on my front porch has been creaking and squeaking and working overtime this week, so huggy, smooshy, giggly, teary thanks to all of you.

With that said, I now have a bathroom to clean. Unless I come up with a topic for post number four.

You could start a bathroom meme… what your cabinet under the bathroom sink looks like. Or five uses for..(name the bathroom item)….Just a thought or two to help a fellow blogger keep blogging – even if it is [temporarily] puppyless.

Hmmm…how do I put this delicately? NO WAY! :D

    Post Number 4: Why I Didn’t Clean the Bathroom… –
Reason 1: I was too busy working on Post Number 5…

    Too Funny –

I just did a blog on the card-carrying denizens of Procrasti-NATION – Maybe you can take a look and burn your card…

Hi Ben! I visited your blog earlier, but I was putting off commenting. :) I think I want to become a member of Procrasti-Nation. Can I have dual citizenship?

Oh, I hope someday I will be good enough to win awards and get lots of links to my page. Congrats Moonbeam for being awesome!!!!

Your blog is wonderful, and you will (I already have linked you, and I’m sure I will again).

It’s not the awards, it’s the thoughtfulness and humor behind some of them that makes me mention them *sniffle*.

    Got that bathroom done yet?

I’d recommend Tri-Flo for the creaky porch swing.

Yes, finally! Did you know that you can mop your ceilings? True fact.

I’ve never heard of Tri-Flo, but it sounds sort of appropriate for mood swings.

    Puuulease, don’t get a chihuahua.
They hump things and stuff. And they have heads the size of lemons.
    Ewwwww . . . .
Personally, I’d rather blog with a stuffed animal.

If I had my druthers, Michael, I’d have one of those huge dogs that you can hug and wrassle with– the kind that takes you for a walk. This house is teeny though, and it has no yard, so Tom nixed that one. As a compromise, I’ve decided that a teacup puppy of any sort will help fill my empty lap and my empty nest– even a humping, lemon-headed one.
