    What a pretty girl, pretty smile, and what a way you have of finding pictures on the net. I would have considered it impossible to still find a picture that can reach what the 100swallows once termed “the deeper layers of memory”.

    @ cantueso: I think this is a very pretty picture of Janis Joplin too. You seldom see her this way, so I was happy to find it.

    I love 100swallows’ term. The deeper layers of memory sometimes evoke strong emotions, and often they’re pleasant ones.

    I get asthma, you know, and so I have to be careful lest I get into a mess.

    “lest”! “albeit”! Remember your idea to make a list of words that give the hickups. I would also like to make such a list. “Albeit” is wonderful, just after “arguably”. “Arguably” can’t be beaten. No way. It comes complete with “arguably one of the best ….”

    But, yesyes, see, I am getting better.

    @ cantueso: “Albeit” and “Arguably” are great words indeed, especially “arguably.” That one little word says so much. I’d love to see your list of favorite words.

    I’m sorry about your asthma. My son has it too, and it can be quite debilitating. I’m glad you’re feeling better though.

    But it is painless, and so it interferes only in a mechanical way with one’s life. And I get all my medication free. And it’s inhalers: no side effects! So you see what a lucky kind of condition that is. However, for a boy or young man this would be worse. At least here.

    Sometimes, the breathing trouble makes me sleep in a position that causes little spasms in the back. So I remember your fiber story and try to shut up.

    I’m french , so i don’t speak English very well but I love janis joplin !!!!!!!! jimi hendrix <3 MORrison , i saw his graceyard in the “pere lachaise ” falls in paris .
    Janis have made sex with them (jimi an jim..) which lucky !!
